On January 19, 2021 the first Deep Dive of the Year will take place. Our topic of the event will be Youngsters & Research.

As you know, youngsters have more impact and let their voice be heard more than ever before. During this event we want to get an update on the current climate of youngsters, how they view the world, what impact for research is and how this translates to marketing.

Speaker 1: Erik Luijts, Managing Partner @ DataSynergy

  • Title of the presentation: “How Gen Z raises the bar for market researchers”
  • About the presentation:
    In a to-the-point story, Erik will explain why Gen Z is not that different from you and me (if you are Gen Y or X at least). There are just a couple of things you should know if you want to stay connected with these “life explorers”.  In the next decade, Gen Z will raise the bar for market researchers: doing nothing is not an option, or response rates will drop below zero. Wanna know how to make their motor hum? Learn about it in this presentation.
  • Bio:
    During his career, you could say that Erik conducted a market research study about the market research sector. Besides working at the client side during the glory days of telecom early 2000, Erik has tasted the flavours of multiple agencies like Research International, Synovate, TNS/Kantar, Market Probe and Profacts. After a 15 year long exploration of the quant side, he fell deeply in love with qualitative research, managing his own qual team with some Supercharged Millennials at Profacts. Erik recently joined DataSynergy as Managing Partner.

Speaker 2: Wilko Rozema, Director, Sales Benelux @ Dynata

  • About the presentation:
    Wilko Rozema will present the current challenges of the industry to reach youngsters. He will provide several do’s and don’ts to understand how you can keep youngsters engaged for your research.
  • Bio:
    Wilko Rozema has 9 years of experience in the Market Research industry. After his graduation in Marketing at the Erasmus University he started his career at Dynata, helping researchers getting access to the most accurate data among different target groups across the world. Within his role he experiences the difficulties to keep Gen Z engaged on a day to day basis

  • Title of the presentation: Gen Z unmasked: Covid-19 impact on the world of 16+ teens
  • About the presentation:
    To keep a finger on the pulse of 16+ Gen Z and their changing needs in COVID-19 times, The Coca-Cola Company in collaboration with InSites Consulting, explored how the COVID-19 crisis has, and will affect everyday lives of Generation Z around the world. Based on insights from talking to 16+ teens across 8 markets – combined with studying over 40 different global sources of secondary research, this case study shares the 5 key take-aways to keep in mind when addressing Gen Z in the upcoming months and years.

Speaker 5 : Louis-Philip Cattoir, Paid Social Media Consultant, Publicis Group

  • Title of the presentation: How to approach GenZ on social media.
  • About the presentation:
    For the launch of the latest Galaxy S20FE, special attention was paid to reaching GenZ. Local assets were created on top of the global toolkit and ran live cross-platform from Facebook to TikTok. We will demonstrate how we created this campaign from strategy and insights all the way to activation across a multitude of platforms.
  • Bio:
    Louis-Philip Cattoir is originally from Ghent and has been working in Amsterdam since 2019. He began as a Paid Social Media Manager at Philips, within the Effie-awarded Real Time Marketing Center, before joining Publicis as a Social Media Consultant. His main focus currently is media buying for Samsung Benelux.
    Louis-Philip is responsible for all paid social campaigns in the Dutch market, and works together with the data and strategy teams on Samsung Home Appliances, IT, Mobile and much more besides.
